More Wild Boar (Friday 12th July 2013)

Our final full day of our holiday so we decided to get up early & see if we could catch another glimpse of the Wild Boar.

So we headed into the hide & waited......

Grey Wagtail, Robin, Redstart, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Nuthatch, Blackbird, Blackcap & Mallard with young were all showing well.

Then a rustle in the ferns behind the pond caught our attention. An adult Wild Boar came into view walking left to right out of the ferns & past a tree before heading back into thick ferns.

A great way to finish a fabulous holiday.
