Nocturnal Walk in Forest of Dean (Wednesday 10th July 2013)

We booked ourselves on a Nocturnal Walk with the RSPB in the Forest of Dean with the hope of seeing Nightjars.

The weather was perfect & we heard three different male Nightjar churring before getting a close up of a male in flight checking us out.

Tonight's sightings - Nightjar, Fallow Deer, Common Toad, Glow-worm & unknown bats. Also heard Tawny Owl & Wild Boar.
